Martha Macharia
Martha Macharia never imagined that she would find herself in ministry. Growing up, she had aspirations of being an air hostess. She later decided to become a nurse. But God had different plans.
At 34, Martha had faced several challenges. It was during this season of hardship that God began speaking to her heart. Through a series of unexpected events and a deep personal transformation, at 38, Martha felt an undeniable pull toward ministry—a calling that both startled and humbled her.
Martha’s story is a powerful testament to God’s ability to call those who least expect it. She encourages others to trust God’s timing and to remember that no one is ever too ordinary or too late for God’s extraordinary purposes.
Storyline
- 2002
In November of 2002, she made the powerful decision to rededicate her life to the Lord, reaffirming her faith and commitment to walk in His purpose. This turning point marked a new chapter in her spiritual journey, one filled with renewed hope and deeper devotion.
- 2003
She became a member of the worship team at a local church, offering her talents and heart in service to God. Through this involvement, she grew in her faith, contributing to the church’s worship ministry while deepening her personal connection with the Lord.
- 2006
In 2006, God uniquely set her apart, marking a pivotal moment in her life and calling. This divine distinction led her on a journey of deeper faith and purpose, as she embraced the special path God had prepared for her.
She entered into the covenant of marriage, embarking on a new chapter of life with her partner, guided by faith and love.
- 2010
She stepped away from the worship team, sensing a shift in her season and a call to focus on other areas of ministry and personal growth.
- 2013
She released her first book, a significant milestone that marked the beginning of her journey as an author, sharing her heart and insights with the world.
- 2016
She hosted the first women’s meeting, a gathering that laid the foundation for the Women’s Ministry. Later, she published her second book, Hopeful Living, offering inspiration and encouragement to women on their own journeys of faith and growth.
- 2017
The women’s ministry, Woman Transformed, was born from a deep passion to empower and uplift women to embrace their God-given purpose and walk confidently in their calling. Alongside this, she launched an online radio show, providing a platform for sharing encouragement, wisdom, and inspiration with women around the world.
- 2021
She released her third book, Journey with God, a heartfelt work that invites women to surrender and embark on a journey of faith, trusting in God’s guidance and walking boldly in their purpose.
- Today
She is currently working on her fourth book, as well as the praise and worship music that God has inspired her to create. Through prayer, study, and fellowship, the ministry continues to uplift and empower women, encouraging them to fully embrace their calling and confidently walk in the purpose God has designed for their lives.
